1929 Duesenberg A Coupe

The Duesenberg Straight Eight debuted in the late 1920s, with production starting in late 1921 after redesigns overseen by Fred Duesenberg in Indianapolis. It was the first U.S. car with a straight-eight engine and featured pioneering hydraulic brakes.


The Model A, crafted from 1921 to 1926, reached a top speed of 71 mph, claiming the title of America's inaugural series-production straight-eight vehicle.
